Henry Hollands Guide to Fashion Week

As guest editor of the Evening Standard today Henry gives his advice on surviving London Fashion Week. We all know its tough, why haven't we had this sooner?! Thanks Henners!!

With three days to go we decided that we'd show you THREE things that Henry can't live without on his desk. 

That's right. 

His handbag Post-it dispenser. VERY useful pre-show (there is also a matching shoe tape dispenser, just sayin). 

AW13 Premium jersey pencil case, to hold all Henry's coloured sharpies. Those bad boys are like gold dust in the office, gotta keep them close or they'll go walkies. 

Lastly, DAX WAX. The secret behind the quiff. Nuff said.

Vogue's Fashion Night Out!

Thursday was a very busy day at HoH HQ! The show is fast approaching and so invites are being stamped and sent, fittings are in full swing and the office is buzzing with top secret business! Here is what we were wearing in the office...

 

This week Megan donned the Houndstooth Blouse 

 Emily took it back to SS11 with her lovely purple chiffon palm print blouse.

 Maggie wore her AW12 tennis dress

Ruan was wearing his AW11 pearl hands tee.

But, there's always a little bit of time for fun so we all headed down to Joseph on Old Bond Street for the Vogue Fashion Night Out event where there were lovely cocktails, a DJ and Henry called the bingo for some amazing prizes!!

We asked Megan, "what was your best fashion night out moment?"

Megan: "I got a full house in the bingo and won a gorgeous Joseph coat! Bring on the winter weather!"

 We asked Rebecca, "What was your favourite fashion night out moment?"

Rebecca: "I loved the atmosphere, it was amazing. I also loved seeing the ultimate diva strutting down the road in his fluorescent pink stripper heels and full body stocking."

 We asked Danielle, "what was your favourite fashion night out moment?"

Danielle: "The flowers in the drinks were lovely."

Lily: "Trying to gracefully saunter past the cast of Made in Chelsea only to roll off my flatform down the stairs. Maybe one too many free drinks? Ooops!"

Vince: "Me and Maggie met Irina Lazareanu, she is one of our favourite models. It was all pretty glamorous"
